My name is Ana, and I am a native from Peru. I received my Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of California, Davis. I am a currently a Spanish teacher working at a private school in Albany, CA, where I lived and worked for 20 years. I have 15 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language on all levels, AP Spanish Language and Literature, and Latin American Literature and Culture at high schools and universities. I worked as Spanish tutor and supervised Spanish tutors as well. My teaching philosophy values diversity and incorporates student’s needs. Moreover, my pedagogy is focused on the development of linguistic competence and cultural identity. I can provide support with online homework, studying for a test, prepare for AP Spanish Language and Culture, and Spanish Literature tests, Spanish conversations for traveling and professions, and improve your Spanish language skills in general.
